Quotes and scope

Quotes are based on the visible site conditions, measurements, client brief and material choices available at the time. Changes to design, materials, access, disposal requirements or hidden site conditions may change the price or timescale.

Hidden conditions

Landscaping can reveal unknown issues such as buried concrete, poor drainage, unstable ground, roots, services, contaminated material or previous poor workmanship. Reasonable care is taken, but hidden conditions may require extra work.

Client responsibilities

Clients should disclose known drains, cables, pipes, boundaries, restrictions, covenants, access limits and neighbour issues before work starts. Permissions, planning requirements and landlord approvals are normally the client's responsibility unless agreed otherwise in writing.

Weather and materials

Outdoor work is affected by weather. Frost, heavy rain, heat, supplier delays or unsafe conditions may alter the schedule. Natural stone, timber and planting have normal variation in colour, grain, weathering and growth.

3D renders

3D renders are design and planning tools. They aim to show the intended layout, scale and material direction, but exact colours, planting maturity, natural material variation and lighting may differ from the finished garden.

Photos and portfolio use

Before, during and after photos may be taken for records, dispute protection, marketing and portfolio use. If a client has privacy concerns about identifiable details, they should raise them before or during the project.

Aftercare

Plants, turf, timber and paved surfaces require suitable aftercare. Failures caused by lack of watering, misuse, third-party work, extreme weather, settlement outside workmanship, or client changes after completion may not be covered.
