What data is collected

When you contact the business, the website may collect your name, email address, phone number, location and project details. If you send photos by email, WhatsApp or Facebook, those images may be used to understand the project, quote accurately and plan the work.

Why data is used

Data is used to respond to enquiries, arrange site visits, prepare quotes, carry out agreed work, manage invoices, keep basic business records and deal with aftercare or warranty questions. The lawful basis is usually legitimate interests, pre-contract discussions, contract performance or legal obligation.

Sharing

Data is not sold. It may be shared with service providers where needed for hosting, email, accounts, legal obligations, material supply, payment records or project delivery. Facebook, WhatsApp and email providers process messages according to their own privacy terms.

Retention

Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up. Client and accounting records may be kept for up to seven years where required for tax, insurance or legal reasons. Project photos may be retained as business records and portfolio evidence unless removal is agreed.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection where UK GDPR allows it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
