Data minimisation
Only information needed to respond, quote, plan and complete landscaping work should be requested. Sensitive personal data is not requested unless a specific project need makes it relevant.
Security
Client details are handled through normal business systems such as email, phone, WhatsApp, accounting records and website hosting. Access should be limited to people or providers who need it for business operations.
Subject access requests
Requests for copies, correction or deletion of personal data should be sent to aaron@worthingtonlandscapeanddesign.co.uk. Identity may need to be confirmed before data is released or changed.
Photos and portfolio use
Garden project photos may be used to document work and show examples of workmanship. Where a photo clearly identifies a person, vehicle registration, house number or other personal detail, reasonable care should be taken before publication.
Data breach handling
If a data breach is suspected, the issue should be assessed promptly, affected people informed where appropriate, and the ICO notified if the risk threshold requires it.
